It’s green and gold all the way for Ryan Holtan-Murphy and Marie Packer.
The Chicago couple tied the knot at the famed Willis Tower last Saturday, and their wedding was totally decked out in Green Bay Packers decorations, signs and even a surprise green suit worn by the groom.
And to top it all off? The bride’s last name is — drumroll — Packer.
“Life couldn’t be more perfect right now!” Holtan-Murphy, 41, tells People. “I married my best friend and now my name is Packer.”
Although his name isn’t changed legally just quite yet, Holtan-Murphy can’t wait until the paperwork comes through.

Melanie “Mel B” Brown returned to TV Tuesday night for the premiere of America’s Got Talent‘s twelfth season. But it was another reunion that had the former Spice Girls’ fans talking.
The 42-year-old singer, who celebrated her birthday on Monday, reunited with her estranged mother Andrea Brown – posting a photo of the two to Instagram on Tuesday.
It was the first photo Mel B has posted to Instagram in nearly two months since filing for divorce from husband Stephen Belafonte among explosive allegations of abuse throughout their nearly 10-year marriage.

Syfy has ordered an amazing-sounding reality series. Jim Henson’s Creature Shop Challenge will basically be the creature version of Face Off with Jim Henson‘s son, Brian Henson as lead judge.
CBS has made it possible to watch the pilot Super Clyde online. The rejected comedy, from Raising Hope and My Name is Earl producer Greg Garcia, starred Rupert Grint as a fast food worker who receives an inheritance and uses it to become a superhero. Stephen Fry plays Clyde‘s butler, Tyler Labine plays Clyde’s brother and overall the pilot shows a frustrating amount of promise. Even if there won’t be more episodes, it’s worth watching for fans of Garcia’s previous shows.
Plus, who can say no to Rupert Grint in a sidecar?
It’s official. Jennie Garth has joined Tori Spelling‘s ABC Family pilot Mystery Girls.

At ABC‘s upfront, there were a few things that the network wanted to make sure you knew. 1) They are really impressed with the idea that people are going to watch Rebel Wilson do just about anything, and 2) There isn’t anything they’re happier about than bringing you more episodes of television created by Shonda Rhimes.
On these notes, the network would love for you to know that more Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal are coming your way. These, ABC would like to impress upon you (as advertisers) are really good shows. Because… hellllooo… so many people watch them that we’re bringing them back. But wait, don’t think that you’re as excited as you can get yet, because if those are your favorite shows, then we have a new one for you to fall in love with, Betrayal.

Watch the brand new trailer for A Late Quartet starring Philip Seymour Hoffman, Christopher Walken, Catherine Keener, Mark Ivanir and Imogen Poots. The film will be in theatres November 2, 2012 and is having it’s world premiere tonight at the Toronto International Film Festival. I’m a huge fan of chamber music and I know a string quartet involves years of absorbing rehearsals and performances – I’ll be eager to see how the film plays out tonight at the festival and during the upcoming awards season. You can read The Hollywood Reporter’s review Here.

In a few short weeks, the broadcast networks will storm Madison Avenue with a whole new crop of shows that will either have the power to blow the roof off Nielsen — or give cable another opportunity to crow about their greatness. Will the (near) future of broadcast TV rest on the shoulders of more beauties and beasts? Do viewers want an updated Sherlock Holmes?
Here is the complete list of pilots that are currently under consideration for fall. As usual, not every project will make the cut — but we certainly have our suspicions about the ones that will (here’s looking at you,...

There doesn't seem to be a single pressing reason for the Farrelly Brothers to have made a Three Stooges-less movie titled "The Three Stooges." Bobby and Peter Farrelly's love of the Stooges is well-known, but they should have left well enough alone after "Dumb and Dumber," a superior and certainly easier to swallow Stooges homage. For starters, the three comedians in the Farrellys' new and more direct tribute's title roles just don't have any comedic chemistry. Geographically, the Farrellys' trio may be close-knit but beyond that, there's nothing to suggest that Sean Hayes, Will Sasso and Chris Diamantopoulos are an organically united group. It should be noted that there's also nothing categorically wrong with the Farrellys reusing their idols' routines. But if the actors playing the Stooges can't form a good, cohesive troupe of comedians, resurrecting Moe, Larry and Curly is pointless.
At this point, it should also...

Ms. Enuka Okuma is an amazing talent, and already something of an entertainment industry veteran, with eight film roles and eleven lead television roles over two decades. Recently, I was blessed with the opportunity to speak with her one-on-one, and as we took turns laughing and “talking shop”, I realized: Enuka is just getting started!
After hearing about her career, and everything she's been up to lately, I think you'll agree that she's an artist we want to keep an eye on! In fact, I hereby declare that we are in the midst of "The Summer of Enuka."
Ms. Okuma's career began at a very young age, in the same, magical way many young actors dream of.
“I love to tell that story!” she said.
Believe it or not, Enuka was performing in a school play, when she was discovered by a stranger with an eye for talent--“and it's been non stop from there.

This is it, the season finale. On Sunday I posted my recap for 6x21 'Let it Bleed,' and today I'm covering the second half of Friday's finale event, 'The Man Who Knew Too Much.' It's one of those awkward title situations where you have two episodes close together with practically the same name, as we just a week ago had 'The Man Who Would Be King'... like in Buffy when they had 'Enemies' and 'Earshot' right after each other, and 'Smashed' and 'Wrecked'... those last two always confused me cause it's like, the same thing!
See? This is why I divided the recaps. I ramble. This is of course about Tmwktm, which is a mouthful. I'm also pretty sure the title refers to Sam - see, all the king's horses, and all the king's men... Sam is broken, and a large chunk of this episode will...

Sometimes, I just want to give Olivia (Anna Torv) a big hug. She needs it. Especially since she's dealing with all the crap that comes with preventing an inter-dimensional car crash, and trying to discern what kind of feelings the man she loves has for her doppelganger. No pressure. At Massive Dynamic, Nina Sharp (Blair Brown) discusses the mysterious book "The First People" with Olivia, wondering if Fauxlivia's journals mention it. They didn't but this opens the opportunity for Nina to broach Olivia about her feelings about Fauxlivia and Peter (Joshua Jackson). Poor Olivia doesn't blame Peter for falling for her double, saying "She's like me, only better." Nina plays the motherly card, and tells Liv that she should just ask Peter how he feels. Meanwhile, a guy named Warren Blake (Paul Jarrett) is having an office birthday party. A box arrives for him with a very freaky voodoo-ish doll...

What is it about cigarette-puffing Madison Avenue types that screams capes and super powers? Today’s most exciting rumor award goes to the gloriously welcome idea of Jon Hamm pulling on blue tights and taking that shiny black hair of his on a ride through the sky. The Mad Men star’s lantern jaw has long been bandied about as an obvious fit for a Superman reboot, with director/comic book geek Kevin Smith wholeheartedly endorsing the prospect last year. Today, unconfirmed reports have begun swirling again that Hamm is being “seriously considered” for the David Goyer-penned script that...

If you are a fan of Syfy's Battlestar Galactica, you probably know that some scenes of the series were filmed in and around the extensive forests of western British Columbia. What you may not realise, however, is that two of the show's stars - Tricia Helfer (Number Six) and Tahmoh Penikett ('Helo') - have lent their talents to a new indie docu-drama that is intended to raise awareness of issues associated with cutting down some of these forests.
The film, called The Green Chain, was written, directed and co-produced by Vancouver-born Mark Leiren-Young. His previous credits include scripts for episodes of the series The Collector, Blood Ties and Psi Factor. He has also written a book, 'Never Shoot a Stampede Queen', articles for 'Time Magazine', 'Maclean's' and 'The Utne Reader', and stage plays.
