He doesn't understand why Åke and Lill-Erik want to spend the summer vacation getting involved in the student council. Nobody wants to hang out with Klimpen so he forces Bert to hang out with him. Bert and Åke fall out over Paulina.

Bert's father has a midlife crisis when his wife goes on a retreat and leaves him and Bert alone. Now it is Bert who gets to be the responsible grown-up.
