To create the creature costume for Julie Strain to wear, several male makeup effects artists had to slather plaster by hand all over her body while she stood nude except for a thin g-string. She said in an interview that they all looked so nervous, especially when rubbing it on her breasts. But she suspected they really enjoyed it. After the plaster dried and the team carefully removed it, she walked downstairs topless, covered only in her g-string and some clinging plaster, and washed herself in a big water basin in front of a large crew building a set just to give them a thrill.
The DVD includes behind the scenes footage of male makeup effects experts helping a naked Julie Strain try on the monster costume. In another scene, she's wearing a t-shirt and sweat pants while wearing the mask. As a joke, she drops her pants and wiggles her bare butt at the camera and crew. Then she lifts her shirt to reveal her breasts as a make up guy powders them with a huge sponge.
David Warner worked on the film for one day.
Julie Strain said she took the role of the creature to do something more challenging than "just being the girl with the big tits who walks through a party scene." She liked the finished film, but hated making it because of all the time she had to spend putting on and wearing the full monster costume and makeup.
