Ayesha Jhulka refused to go topless for a rape scene. So the director used a stunt double of Ayesha and shot her from the side angle. This angered Ayesha and she went to the press with her grievance.
The joke about the film was "It's a P I M P from the house of P.M.P. (Prakash Mehra Pictures)".
Babla,, rues that Prakash Mehra used his song Ove Maine Chori Chori ( from the shelved movie Insaan Ki Aulad) in a re-recorded version for Dalaal . He did this without crediting him as composer on the album. "My name was just mentioned in the film's credits but no one noticed it!" stated Babla.
