It is true that Anna-annA directed by Greti Klay and Jürgen Brauer is a Swiss film for children but it appears more as an European film. This is because it has most of the elements commonly found in other European films. It appeals to viewers as its story is original and manages to elicit laughter from all viewers including adults.Anna-annA is a film in which young children's lives are showing from a fresh perspective. It is not so often that viewers get to see a film about young children who have trouble at home due to the fact that they are being neglected by their parents.Anna-annA is a tale of two girls who are twin sisters. It is very difficult to make out who is who as they look alike. They live with their mother who is single.Anna's life changes forever when she makes a big mistake by hiding behind a photocopier in her classroom. What happens next is fun to watch as a series of funny events take place which change the way Anna's mother looks at her.It is with great creativity that Lea Hürlimann and her sister Wanda Hürlimann play the roles of Anna/annA.
