Comedy duo Lano and Woodley auditioned to be part of the cast, only one got in and neither wanted to split their act up, so the one that got to be part of the cast, turned the offer down.
Full Frontal was the 3rd incarnation of long running comedy sketch shows in Australia. Beginning as The DeGeneration (1986) it's main players split into The Comedy Company (1988) and Fast Foward (1988). When both series ended they merged into a new show Full Frontal (1993) before moving to a new station later and becoming Totally Full Frontal (1998). A short lived all female cast series called Big Girls Blouse (1994) failed to last after 1 season. Some cast members such as Mark Mitchell, Kim Gyngel & Eric Bana attempted a solo series based on popular characters, however they where unsuccessful. Shaun Micallif has continued the tradition in many forms over the years in a variety of shows such as The Micallif Program (1998) & Micallif Tonight (2003).
Launched the career of Eric Bana.
Breaks the fourth wall in a logies sketch when Eric Bana, dressed as Ray Martin, presents best actor in a comedy series. One of the nominees is Eric Bana for Full Frontal.
