I saw this movie in the rental store, and after watching every movie about animals they had, this was my last one. I picked up the movie, and saw the name, "Fuzz", which is my dog's name, and had to watch it now. I read through the summary, which seemed so great. It's got wonderful acting, and a great story. It made me cry at the end, but that just makes the movie even more beautiful. I ended up renting this movie nine more times until the video was no longer there, which didn't stop me, because I ended up ordering it. I would completely recommend to anyone who loves a good sad and happy story line. Will also make you appreciate life much more. And look up the actors, they were the best part! Especially Raeanin Simpson. =)

Like many inexpensive family films, this had that particular aspect of sincerity and lack of sophistication, that causes you to feel empathy for the actors even though their dialogue is somewhat stilted. Essentially an "Old Yeller" for girls, and quite likeable.
