Para las nenas, leche calentita (1986)
** 1/2 (out of 4)
Hardcore picture from director Lina Romay who also plays the lead role here. The story is pretty simple as a group of sexually unhappy or oversexed people are staying at a hotel and before long they start mixing it up to get that loving feeling back.
This film, probably co-directed by Jess Franco, is pretty much a remake of the 1978 film ELLES FONT TOUT (THAT CERTAIN TASTE), which has already been remade by Franco in 1984 as EL HOTEL DE LOS LIGUES. All three films have the familiar plot of sexually troubled characters being in the right place at the right time where they can work out their frustrations by having sex.
Some of the characters include a man trying to sleep with his new wife but he can't because she drags her sister along everywhere. Another woman is in love with sex and keeps a track of how many times her and her man do it. Then you've got a bickering couple and there's Romay's character who is there to sleep with as many of them as possible.
I've seen a handful of these Romay/Franco directed pictures and it's clear that they're not meant to be taken overly serious as there's a comic tone to this one and several others. If you're a fan of Romay then she's certainly the reason to watch this as she's quite lively and bouncing around the place. She appears in several of the hardcore scenes and I must admit that it seems like she was enjoying herself here more than usual.
Obviously this film isn't going to appeal to everyone but at just 67 minutes it's a quick watch and certainly much better than some of the other pornos that were made around this time.
