When Clifford arrives at the girls' apartment, he leaves the car's lights on after parking. However, when Margot looks out the window to check out the car, its lights are off.
While Cliff is waiting for the girls to get ready, he lights a candle. As the time passes, the candle gets smaller then suddenly larger a number of times.
