Director 'Keita Amamiya' believes that Doras is actually an evil Kamen Rider and that Doras should be what an evil Rider should look like.
When first being shot, the cut ran nearly 90 minutes. To make sure it didn't run too long for kids to enjoy, several minutes of footage were cut out including: Alternate shots in the first fight between ZO and Doras; Asao visits Professor Mochizuki's lab, which then triggers the flashback to the experiment; The Doras sphere chasing Hiroshi through a car lot and then smashing into a car window; ZO transforming back into Asao after the fight with the Spider Woman and Bat Man in front of Hiroshi's grandfather; Asao coming across a building that Doras has demolished; Various stunts in the fight between Asao and the Bat Man; Hiroshi's sister trying to stop Hiroshi running from Asao; Various shots of the study room.
Was adapted into an FMV (Full Motion Video) video game for the Sega Mega CD/Sega CD video game console in 1994. FMV games were very popular at the time.
