Director David DeCoteau used the pseudonym Ellen Cabot. He told Draculina magazine that Ellen Cabot was an old girlfriend from high school who he had a real bad break up with his senior year. He said she was a screaming bitch. So whenever he made what he feels is a very bad movie, he used her name instead of his in the credits. However, he later retracted this by claiming that he merely made the pseudonym up to cover up his homosexuality.

Alternate versions
The USA Up All Night Version is edited. Scenes of nudity and profanity have been edited out to meet broadcasting standards. The Dutch VHS, released in 1990 by Excalibur Benelux through their Pink Line Collection of softcore fare, is uncut.
