Originally, the Hellenic Storyteller was to have a new dog in the shape of Cerberus, the three-headed guard dog. But when this creature proved to be too difficult to produce on a television schedule, the dog from The Storyteller (1987) was dusted off and rebuilt in a new, high-tech incarnation.
