I’m not sure what’s more surprising, that I’m reviewing a movie called Death Rider in the House of Vampires or that, after Verotika, somebody put up money for Glenn Danzig to make another movie. But here we are.
As the film opens Death Rider is riding through a desert filled with warning signs and crucified bodies. He leads another horse, with a bound, topless woman on it. She is his entrance fee to Sanctuary, one female virgin. She looks like she probably couldn’t remember when she actually was a virgin but that’s besides the point.
After riding for what seems to be hours and running into some trouble from Bela Latigo he arrives...

This week Grave Secrets spotlights the crimes of serial killer Dayton leroy Rogers, who dumped the bodies of six victims in the Molalla Forest area of Oregon. Between 1983 and 1987 Dayton Leroy Rogers killed at least six women and possibly several more. The married father of one worked as an engine mechanic and was in considerable amounts of personal debt. His victims were mostly vulnerable women who were drug addicts, prostitutes or runaways whom he lured to their deaths. This week Grave Secrets examines the brutal stabbing to death of caseworker Tracey Bagwell, who was killed in her own car. This week Grave Secrets spotlights the crimes and possible crimes committed by Bruce Mendenhall, a truck driver who murdered Sara Hulbert and is accused of several more killings. June 25, 2007 and 25-year-old prostitute Sara Hulbert went missing after getting high with friends and taking a lift from a truck at the nearby stop. Her body was found at another Nashville truck stop, she’d been sexually assaulted and shot in the head. Male and female talent, aged 18–75, are wanted to play all principal and ensemble roles in the production, including Maria, Tony, Anita, and more. There are auditions by appointment in Sioux City, Iowa on Nov. 10 and NYC on Dec. 2. Rehearsals will begin Apr. 2 in Sioux City, Iowa, and the show will run Apr. 21 and 22 at the Orpheum. Equity members will be hired under the Equity Guest Artist Agreement.

The hit Off-Broadway show “The Fantasticks”—which holds the record for the longest-running musical in the world—is casting nonunion performers for its upcoming production in Las Vegas. Some weird, weird, weird news came in this morning that caught me a little off guard. What we received was word that a remake of Stephen King's Children Of The Corn is gearing up for production this August in Eastern Central Iowa. But here's the shocker, Donald P. Borchers - producer of the original 1984 film - is set to direct the latest incarnation from his own screenplay! His previous directing credits include Perfect Fit (1999) and Grave Secrets (1989). He also associate produced The Beastmaster (1984). The film is currently casting with the following synopsis making the rounds...
