Ian McFadyen turned down the role of Martin Kelly in "Hey Dad!" (1987) to do this show.
Peter Rowsthorn, Russell Gilbert, Maryanne Fahey, Mark Mitchell, and Ian McFadyen were the only original cast members who appeared in the relaunch of "The Comedy Company" (1988) in 1990, along with a new cast.
