A teen has been charged with one count of murder after admitting his involvement in the Sept. 4 Houston area high school stabbing to police. The attack left one student dead and three more in the hospital.

17-year-old Luis Alonzo Alfaro was charged with murder following the Sept. 4 fatal stabbing in Texas’ Spring High School. One student, Joshua Broussard, 16, was killed in the altercation that sent three other teens to the hospital.

The actor, who most notably starred in the TV series The Andy Griffith Show and Matlock, passed away at his home in Dare County, N.C., and was buried later the same day. The cause of death was a heart attack.

Griffith, who popped up on The Ed Sullivan Show throughout the 1950s, appeared as Sheriff Andy Taylor in a 1960 episode of Danny Thomas‘s show Make Room for Daddy, which served as the inspiration for The Andy Griffith Show, which aired from 1960 to 1968.

"Andy Griffith passed away, after an illness, during the early morning on July 3 at his home in Manteo, N.C., with his wife Cindi at his side," the star's family said in a statement to Et. "Mr. Griffith has been laid down to rest on his beloved Roanoke Island.
