The poster in Sally's hallway for "Margaret McQueenie" uses a publicity still from this film that Lauren Bacall used in her autobiography and appears to be from her personal collection.
The movie was changed before filming to be along the same lines at this then recent thriller which had been successful at the box office. That picture's music composer Pino Donaggio was hired to do the score.
