The plaster gnomes that Petr Nározný worked on are props recycled from the older film Long Live Ghosts! (1977).
The last filming of Jirí Hrzán, who died tragically without finishing filming. All scenes with him had to be reshot with the newly cast Miroslav Streda. The film does not include a single shot with Hrzán, but he remains memorially credited in the credits.
Live ammunition was partly used in the bar shooting scene because the filmmakers couldn't figure out how to film the shooting of the bar mirrors without it.
