This film was released in the United States in a English dubbed version as "The Bullet Train." This version was heavily cut which reduced its running time to approximately 115 minutes.
West German theatrical version was cut down to ca. 96 minutes. This version was the basis for all subsequent home video releases. Only in 2013 the complete version was released.
