"Bless All the Dear Children" includes the only instance in which Laura refers to Mr. Edwards by his first name.
This movie forms part of the unofficial final season 10 trilogy. Accordingly, this should ideally be watched in its originally intended middle story position, due to the nature of the explosive season 10 finale.
Although this was the second sequel telefilm produced, it was actually the last "Little House" story to air on NBC in December, 1984 (it had been kept on the NBC shelf for a year).
The film takes place in December 1896.
Michael Landon does the voiceover in the opening prologue as Charles Ingalls, while Ike Eisenmann has an uncredited bit part in the train sequence as Erich Schiller (a role he previously played in the "Little House" episode "Harriet's Happenings").
