The day before I saw Paolo Villaggio in "Il terrible ispettore"(1969) which is simply brilliant. Paolo Villaggio is fantastic too in those Fantozzi films, specially the first two. But here, everything is a mess. The script is so bad that is hard to watch the whole film until the end. Sergio Corbucci is not a bad director, he has undertaken many exciting Westerns. Here, trying to do comedy, on a script without any value, he fails. Despite having two great actors as protagonists, Paolo Villaggio and Johnny Dorelli. La Bionda brothers music, very talented, also is not at their height. Luciano Vincenzoni and Sergio Donati wrote many great scripts. "Seven Times Seven", "Once Upon a Time in the West", "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly", "For a Few Dollars More", "Seduced and Abandoned", to name just a few. This is probably their worst ever.
