Sometimes, in episodes like 'Inside the Closet' and 'In the Cards', blood is seen.
In some episodes, human skulls, brains in jars, corpses and gruesome monsters are seen. Most of it looks very low-budget but is still really strange and creepy.
In 'A Case of the Stubborns', an old man sneezes and his nose falls right off. A young boy goes to look at it later on. It has snot and fluids leaking from it and it's very gross.
In many episodes, kids are yelled at or abused, mostly to show that this type of behavior is wrong. 'Monsters in my Room', 'Trick-or-Treat' and 'I Can't Help Saying Goodbye' are a few examples.
In 'Love Hungry', a talking banana says something about peeling a woman's skin off. Later on that same woman sews her mouth shut with a sewing needle and starves to death.
In episodes like 'Seasons of Belief', 'I Can't Help Saying Goodbye' and 'Sorry, Right Number; parents are killed.
In 'Ursa Minor', a woman cuts open a teddy bear. The same night, the teddy bear's mother, "ursa major", returns to do the same thing to the woman's daughter.
