Charlie, Philip, Ollie and Rosie are four former high school friends who don clown costumes and kidnap one of their old girlfriends, named Alison, from a Halloween costume party in what's supposed to be an innocent prank to mettle in a real estate over an old farm, and they hold her captive on the farm until the deal goes wrong the next morning. Tensions flare quickly, but old jealousy and resentment turn to suspicion and terror when the group realizes that there is a very real killer stalking them in a clown mask with a real ax to grind... and who wants them dead! Is a murdering red-nosed stranger stalking the four hapless kidnappers, or is one of their own is determined to make sure this is one prank that will make them die laughing?
