- TriviaThe only movie that Rudy Ricci ever had a starring role in after playing the Shirt-Ripped Zombie in George A. Romero's Night of the Living Dead (1968) and before he played our main antagonist, The Biker Leader (Radio Operator wearing Helmet) in George A. Romero's Dawn of the Dead (1978).

In this soft-core romp, Cherry Jankowski (Sharon Joy Miller) works at the booby hatch, an experimental sex toy shop that measures the users' sex drives, and is sexually frustrated by her secretly transvestite boyfriend (not a spoiler as it's shown in the film's trailer), Herman, who wants to want until marriage. Meanwhile fellow worker Marcello, who used to be the stud at work, is now impotent.
This movie works more of a curiosity to catch multiple "Dawn of the Dead" alumni before they starred in that film because as a comedy, much like the character of Marcello, the film is completely flaccid. Despite the abundant nudity on display I found myself growing restless and looking at my watch to see if the film was almost over yet. It seemed like a story that could've been told in 30 minutes (at most) stretched out way too thin to pass for a motion picture. However as I said, if you're a fan of Romero's Living Dead films, it might hold some historical interest.
Eye Candy: I counted 9 bushes, 18 pair of tits, 5 asses are shown by various actresses and extras
My Grade: D
Synapse DVD Extras: Commentary by actor/writer/co-director Rudy Ricci, Producer/writer/ co-director John Russo & Producer Russell Streiner; a 10 and a half minute interview with David Emge; an alternative version of this film under the title of "The Liberation of Cherry Jankowski"2 theatrical trailer for this film (one under the alternate title)
