When Sara's mother and father visit New York City sometime around 1947, they pass several movie theaters clearly showing titles of films released at least twenty years later, including: The Long Duel (1967), Charley-One-Eye (1973), Trouble Man (1972), Black Belt (1973), Gordon's War (1973), and The Karate Killer (1973).
