Performing nude and in sex scenes was very difficult for Laura Gemser. She had posed nude for photographers before getting into films, but that was difficult too. She said posing for photos was awkward enough, but it was usually just one photographer and an assistant. Suddenly, she started doing movies and had to strip naked and pretend to have sex with other actors for hours while a large production crew watched "with their tongues hanging out." At first it traumatized her, but she forced herself to do it because it was her job and required of her. She ended up spending her career naked and having sex in most of her films and said she never got used to it.

Talking about the scene in which she is totally nude on a horse, running on the beach, Olga Bisera said, "A scene of that kind on one of the islands of the Seychelles, full of poetry and natural beauty, with a woman galloping without frills on her, on a white horse, symbolically had great meaning. It represented freedom, poetry, lack of hypocrisy and all the beautiful things that we have now lost in life."
