In a farmhouse, a picture of a Tasmanian tiger or Thylacine is pointed out as being that of an extinct animal. The Thylacine did not become extinct until the 1930s.
The end credits show the copyright date in roman numerals that is incorrect. They are displayed as MCMDXXVI, but for 1976 they should be MCMLXXVI.
Dan Morgan (real name John Fuller) was born in New South Wales, Australia. While it is believed his mother was Irish, it is unlikely that he spoke with a heavy Irish accent. More likely he would have adopted the developing local accent.
