The actual first nudie musical is considered to be the 1963 nudie-cutie Goldilocks and the Three Bares (1963).
Ronne Troup was originally cast for the role of "Susie Jones" in this film, but dropped out of the production over concerns about nudity and a song performed by the character. She was replaced by Leslie Ackerman.
Jane Ralston's debut.
The Tap-Dancing scene near the end of the movie features 4 male Tap-Dancers wearing Tuxedos, and 5 female Tap-Dancers wearing only Tuxedo Coats, with their groins exposed. In the DVD commentary, Director Bruce Kimmel said originally the men were also supposed to be naked, but while they had no trouble finding 5 women who could Tap-Dance and were willing to dance naked, they were unable to find any men who could Tap-Dance and willing to do it while naked.
