When Elsa first arrives at the train station in her black SS uniform she is wearing the rank of Standartenfuhrer (Colonel, one oak leaf) which is correct for her character. When the train leaves the station and she is standing on the train looking out she is wearing a black SS uniform with the rank of Gruppenfuhrer (Lt. General, three oak leaves); this was a costuming error.
The naval war ensign is shown multiple times in buildings and outside, although it's a flag used solely by the navy.
The steam train serial number is EST 30 476, seen at the very front and, occasionally, the letters EST are covered with piece of red cloth.
