- TriviaDjurado (Spanish word for «sworn») was promoted in Italy under that title, banking on the similarity with the much publicized Django (1966) released in April. The main character is played by a newcomer who chose the screen name Montgomey Clark, and looks like Giuliano Gemma who, by coincidence, started his career as Montgomery Wood.
- Alternate versionsThe Italian version run at 87 minutes. It was cut to 73 minutes and dubbed in English for the international market.

Moving Spaghetti Western is filled with unstopped action , thrills , brawls and crossfire . Djurado or Jim Golden Poker (as Montgomery Clark) is a gunslinger who rides into a town called ¨Silver Mine City¨ and immediately becomes involved in a violent dispute between a pretty saloon owner (Scilla Gabel) and a powerful owner , Tucan (Luis Induni) . Tucan wants the closed saloon, that's why below there's a silver mine. Later on , Tucan's henchmen carry out a bank robbery and assault a stagecoach where the new sheriff travels. Then , Jim Parker is accused of the bank robbery and being relentlessly chased. Along the way, Djurado falls in love for a beautiful saloon girl (Margaret Lee) who's subsequently kidnapped.
This stirring tortilla/Ravioli Western packs shootouts , noisy action , pursuits , dances of the saloon girls and violence . The movie is running out of ideas a bit ; nevertheless , it is still good enough to be fun . Italian-Spanish co-production filmed in Lacio , Rome and Colmenar Viejo , Manzanares del Real , Madrid , full of familiar faces , assaults , exaggerated characters , gun-down , zooms , lots of shots and fights in Terence Hill and Bud Spencer style . Stars the unknown Dante Posani under pseudonym Montgomery Clark giving a so-so acting , he ravages the screen , he jumps, makes acrobatics , hits and runs ; besides , receiving violent punches and wounds . Worthwhile watching for a demonstration of the confrontation between Montgomery Clark along with the new sheriff against Tucan and his hoodlums with some looks that say it all , including a thrilling ending . The film benefits itself from the lush appearance of three Eurotrash beauties : Scilla Gabel , Mariangela Giordano, Margaret Lee at the time married to Klaus Kinski . Here appear important secondaries from Spaghetti/Tortilla or Paella Western , being an Italian/Spanish co-production, there are Spanish actors as Goyo Lebrero , Luis Induni and show up briefly the ordinary Italians : Fortunato Arena , Federico Boido and Pietro Torrisi who in next decade to play various Sword and Witchery films as Peter McCoy.
Enjoyable and musical score by Gianni Ferrio who composed various Spaghetti scores in Ennio Morricone style. As well as colorful and adequate ciinematography by Miguel Fernández Mila . The motion picture was regular but professionally written/directed by Giovanni Narzisi . He managed to make a fluid and filled with action enough , though average and in medium budget . He was a craftsman who photographed , wrote and directed some movies . As he was cinematographer in ¨I sovversivi¨, ¨La violenza dei dannati¨, ¨A second spring¨, ¨The Love Factory¨, ¨The Grim Reaper¨, ¨Eric the Conqueror¨. He only directed two films : ¨Latin Male Wanted¨and this¨Djurado¨(1966). Rating : 5/10 . Average but passable , only for hardcore Western fans.
