While filming this picture in January 1966, Jeffrey Hunter also had to rerecord much of the dialogue from his television pilot, "Journey Into Fear," which had been filmed a few weeks earlier and was in post-production.
Jeffrey Hunter was not the original star of the film. He replaced Jason Evers, who backed out to film the television pilot Three for Danger (1967).
For many years, associate producer Terry Bourke tried to find a print of this feature. He said the negative was apparently destroyed at the Hong Kong lab where it was stored. Writer/director Jeffrey Stone said the film was apparently destroyed by the Hong Kong government.
Composer Paul Lewis says he composed about 40 minutes of music for the film which was recorded at Anvil Studios, owned by Hammer Films, at Beaconsfield Film Studios in England.
