Patrick Floyd Garrett Jr., born 2/23/1896, died at age 31 on 5/28/1927 at Tampico, Mexico. He is buried in the Masonic Cemetery, Las Cruces, New Mexico. Patrick Wayne was born in 1939 and was 27 in 1966, when this film was released.
Patrick Wayne played Pat Garrett Jr. in this film and, later in his career, played Pat Garrett Sr. in "Young Guns".
