Most episodes of this show are presumed lost, due to an ill-advised "economy drive" at the broadcaster that showed the programme. When Australian TV switched to colour in 1975, ABC are said to have either wiped or simply junked the videotape masters containing the original mini-series and first 80 episodes of the serial - simply because they were made in monochrome and so now deemed obsolete.
