Classic Spencer & Hill, in their first movie together not set in the west. Has all of the Spencer & Hill trademarks: non-cheesy good sentiments with cynical characters turning into heroes in the end, fist fights, totally evil bad guys. Great De Angelis brothers (Oliver Onions) soundtrack, fitting perfectly in the mood of the movie as usual. If you love the pair's other movies, go for it, and if you've never seen one this is a great start. Try to find the uncut version (120 minutes, but it's virtually impossible to find) or at least a version with a runtime of more than 90 minutes. Other versions (like the one in the Italian DVD) are a mess.

As a teenager, I loved the Spencer/Hill films and this was one of my favorites. When I watched it again a few years ago I was a bit anxious that I might spoil my childhood memories by too clearly seeing its flaws now. I shouldn't have worried: although there are a few flaws (especially the overuse of fist fights and a quarter-hearted attempt at romance) it remains very entertaining. And you won't be able to get the catchy theme song out of your head.
Our two heroes are push pilots of the lowest caliber somewhere in South America. The opening scene in which Bud Spencer flies one of these jokes with wings in bad weather conditions is a classic. First you think it is one of those 'hero overcomes impossible odds' kinds of scenes, and then it turns out not to be, and then, perhaps, it was such a scene after all, in a way. You see: I'm struggling to explain it without giving anything away, suffice it to say that it's clever and funny.
The bad guys are mostly a bit lifeless, with the exception of Reinhard Kolldehoff who makes an excellent sleazy bastard, similar to the kinds Eduardo Fajardo uses to play.

On my first viewing, I sought out an HD version of the film, it had a run time of 90 mins, it was a great film from the duo of Bud Spencer and Terence Hill except when the final act began, there were obvious and horrible cuts to the movie, I couldn't even tell what was happening anymore. I will seek out the longer version. Great film, but the last act on the short version makes no sense, why would they even release this cut version?
I liked this movie......it was a change.I always saw their westerns......and i was getting tired of see terence and bud as cowboys. Yeah they are pilots in this movie and they make a plane to ship supplies to prospecters mining for emeralds and a jealous competitor ruins thier business and well.......lots of fights.....just like their other movies.....this movie is good but i suggest you see crimebusters , the trinitys , and my name is nobody!!!!!

Terence Hill and Bid Spencer are a couple of pilots. They're earning money by crashing planes for insurance, or trying to. Now they're on the run, and find themselves in a remote part of Bolivia. It seems to be lousy with emeralds, but the trade is controlled by Reinhard Koldehof. Nonetheless, they get their hands on a junker, restore it, and start to earn money flying supplies in.... but it's not that easy.
This rough-house buddy comedy is a very pleasant affair, with Spencer big and violent, and Hill charming and smart. There's a good musical interlude, some nice location shooting in Bolivia, and some interesting-looking planes for people who are interested in that sort of thing.
The two leads were very popular; they made sixteen movies together. Spencer died in 2016 at the age of 86. Hill is still around, although he hasn't been seen on the big or little screen since 2022.

I love these guys! Most their movies I saw as a child but even seeing them now I still consider them my all-time favorites & I can still watch them over & over & over without getting the least bit tired of them. "All The Way Boys" takes them away from the ole west but still carries the same great clean & fun humor these guys are known for. You will see LOTS of actors from previous/future Hill/Spencer films in this one. Lots of fun to watch & even the actors looked like they had a lot of fun filming it. I hope one day someone will have their full catalog of films released on DVD. Perhaps a box set?? Great movie with a very catchy soundtrack. If you can find a copy, sit back & enjoy.
Likable Terence Hill and stocky Bud Spencer team up again as the valiant duo . The agreeable crew makes a new adventure movie plenty of fist-play , action and entertainment . This amusing film deal with ours intimate friends in South America , they're nowadays two pilots , the blue-eyes and sympathetic Terence Hill as Plata and a grumpy and goofy Bud Spencer as Salud ; as they are hired for crashing a plane for insurance money . They wind up ditching for real in the jungles of Amazon . The argument involves "Mr. Big", Reinhard Kolldehoff , who is buying the precious stones from the miners for much too little, and has nasties who keep the price down. Of course, they will combat thieves ,thugs and criminals .
The 'big time' duo of Spaghetti Western with humor such as ¨They call me Trinity¨, ¨ Trinity is still my name ¨ and sequels as ¨Troublemakers¨ were run out and for that reason are transfered in modern era film , playing the police/action genre and adventures as ¨All the way boys¨ also titled ¨Plane crazy¨ . After that , they starred the successful ¨ Miami police series ¨, which belong the following : ¨Crime Busters¨ , ¨Superfuzz¨ and ¨supercops in Miami¨. The movie contains silly comedy , the usual slight fights and a little bit action including some car pursuits when Bud Spencer robs a police vehicle and is pursued by others .The humor is based on physical and personality differences of the starring , as Terence Hill is the sympathetic and brave hero and Bud Spencer is the corpulent and hunk man. As always several humorous struggles with no blood , neither violence . Enjoyable performance of Cryl Cusack , a veteran British with a long and prestigious career ; furthermore Riccardo Pizzuti ,habitual secondary in Hill-Spencer films . Mediocre cinematography and commercial musical score by the usual Guido and Maurizio De Angelis , including catching songs .
The motion picture is regularly directed by Giuseppe Colizzi . Giuseppe directed a trilogy starred by Hill and Spencer as Cat Stevens and Hutch Bessy respectively. The first and superior and the best outing was ¨Dio Perdona..¨; the second installment is ¨Four gunmen of Ave Maria or Ace high ¨ with the great Elli Wallach and more camp tendencies ; and the third is ¨Boot Hill¨ with Woody Strode . Colizzi subsequently realized another buddy movie ¨Joe and Margherito¨ with Keith Carradine and Tom Skerrit until his early death at fifty years old . The flick will appeal to famous pair fans.

Professionals who worked with Bud&Terence often pick this movie as their favourite, and for a reason. However, the most common version you will find is the heavily cut (butchered) 90-minute version, which is not the best to enjoy this movie. The full cut is rare, but the best way to enjoy a well made adventure movie, with the unique features of Bud&Terence's movies.
A bit less comedy, a bit more romanticism, a slower pace than the usual B&T's movies, but overall a fascinating work by Colizzi who returns to direct the Italian duo after launching the couple in his late '60s western trilogy.
Bud and Terence, bush pilots who participate in a friend's insurance scams, are once again "heroes by chance". There is adventure, wit, beautiful scenery and a couple of (inevitable) fist fights. Very enjoyable.

Amiable but slow-paced, uninteresting Bud Spencer & Terence Hill "comedy", whose laughs can be counted on the fingers of your hands. It plays as if the filming began before the script was even written, so a "story" was improvised on the spot. In some of the fight scenes, we don't even know who the opponents are or why Hill and Spencer are fighting them. An unreasonable amount of time is taken up by such activities as repairing an old aircraft. Only diehard fans of the duo should invenst the two hours it takes to watch this. (*1/2)
Terence Hill and Bud Spencer were a great team. Their movies are kind of goofy but they're also filled with charm. I've a huge fan of "My Name is Nobody". Somehow I saw it in the theater with my brother, unsupervised, when we were really young. But until only a couple of years ago, I had never seen a Hill/Spenser movie. I'm still in my early stages of my Hill/Spenser journey but I have to say that "All the Way Boys" is their best movie so far. Their movies are fun and goofy but I don't usually laugh out loud. I laughed out loud a bunch of times watching "All the Way Boys". (I watched this movie on Tubi.)
