During his chase with the Bedford van, the rear number plate of Kovack's Bentley becomes detached at the right hand fixing; when the chase concludes the number plate is in its correct position.
In the opening scene, Tom Kovack's helmet is flecked with mud spots that change places in different shots. This makes his name appear misspelled as "KCVACK" during the racing scene close ups, but correct as "KOVACK" during the pit stop and ending crash with the hay-wagon.
