"Kuglen" is on display at the Danish National Museum in Copenhagen.
One episode was produced but has never been broadcast. It featured Fru Clausen admitting to having strangled a parrot, because it said rude words. It was deemed too controversial by Niels-Jørgen Kaiser from Danmarks Radio (the Danish Broadcasting Corporation).
In one episode, the producers had trouble getting a child to cry on command in front of the camera, so they placed the child's mother behind the camera and pretended to beat her up to get the child to cry. It worked.
Niels-Jørgen Kaiser from Danmarks Radio (the Danish Broadcasting Corporation) ordered the series after being inspired by Coronation Street (1960).
Erik Balling and Henning Bahs rewrote every script so they fitted together properly and fitted into the time slot.
