Don buys Tyler's car, a Lorenzo roadster, and the fun begins.....

Do to a snafu from the army Don is called into the military. But when he goes down to clear up what is obviously a mistake he is exasperated to have to through the entire induction process.

Don buys a new car from Tyler and lovingly takes care of it to Barbara's embarrassment. But after a garage mechanic tells him the auto was once in an accident Don becomes furious.

Over Don's protests his daughter Janie is selected to appear in a client's commercial. They select the Robinson kitchen as the filming location guaranteeing the interference of Don.

Tyler and wife Jean separate leading Don and Barbara vowing to stay out of it. But Jean invites herself to tbe Robinsons house and taks endlessly about her husband.

Don Robinson has a talk with his brother-in-law who urges him to have a will drawn up. Reluctant to face his mortality Don's attempts are half hearted and disastrous.
