I remember this sitcom with great nostalgia, since unfortunately it has not been broadcast in repetitions like so many others. The premise turns into a series the story of the King of Siam played by Yull Briner and a widowed American governess with a young son played by Samantha Eggar, who arrives at the Palace to educate the crown prince. The King and Anna feel a peculiar attraction although they always face each other due to the difference in customs and idiosyncrasies. The scripts of the 13 episodes are very entertaining, well acted and with an important production in terms of sets and exteriors. Perhaps the costs were too high for a sitcom that at the time did not excel audience. In any case, it is still an excellent show to be entertained, much more fun and creative than other sitcoms that are repeated ad nauseam.
