Despite firing numerous shots from their revolvers, the girls are never shown reloading the guns, nor show any indication that they have extra ammunition.
At the beginning, when the clowns are pouring the gas over the dead friend, you can see him move several times, including twitches and breathing.
After being buried alive, as Michelle is being pulled out of the grave, part of the chamber in which she was hiding can be seen.
