- Satan lets Jezebel return to earth to deliver the soul of a blonde virgin named Rachel by taking over her body. However, Jezebel gets more than she bargained for.
- Jezebel, beautiful and politically ambitious, is betrayed and killed by Joshua. In Hell, she strikes a bargain with Lucifer, promising that she will send him the virgin Rachel if he will let her return to Earth in order to avenge herself on Joshua. Meanwhile, Joshua's lover, Ruth, has arranged a marriage between her unwilling sister Rachel, the virgin Jezebel promised to Lucifer, and the soldier, Jeremiah. Ruth believes that the marriage will strengthen the military alliance between Joshua and Jeremiah. Jezebel's first step in her plan of vengeance is to exchange spirits with Rachel. Jeremiah visits his bride-to-be one night and is dismayed to find that Rachel is not a virgin but an experienced temptress. Enraged, Jeremiah demands an explanation from Joshua. Joshua, in turn, confronts Ruth, accuses her of treachery, and breaks off with her. Ruth, dismayed because Joshua has scorned her, goes to Rachel for "sisterly" comfort. Together, Rachel and Ruth plan to blackmail Joshua into marrying Ruth. Rachel disguises herself as a boy and seduces Joshua, later convincing him that he has committed pederasty.
