Gl History
Gl aired on CBS from June 30, 1952, to September 18, 2009. Before that it was broadcast on the radio from January 25, 1937, and June 29, 1956. It aired on both CBS and on the radio from 1952-1956. Keep reading to see what they had to say!
Beth Chamberlin (Beth)
How would you feel about Gl being rebooted as a movie? I would love it. There is the selfish reason that I would get to see and work with my wonderful friends on the show. There is also the knowledge of the joy that would bring to long-time viewers. People rarely understand the unique aspect of these long-running series. They provided a touch point between generations.

Lucky had an unexpected visitor that left viewers feeling nostalgic on the September 20, 2024 episode of General Hospital.
LL2 Reunion
After a bloody and injured Lucky (Jonathan Jackson) was thrown into a cell on Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) compound, he struggled to get off the ground, and that was when an unexpected hand appeared to help him. “I must be worst off than I thought,” Lucky said.
Dressed in scrubs, Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) began diagnosing Lucky’s injuries, including a concussion. Lucky noted he certainly has a concussion if he’s talking to someone who isn’t there. Elizabeth helped Lucky up, then questioned his decisions that have taken him away from his family.
Lucky admitted that being away from Elizabeth was the hardest thing he ever had to do, and he’s thought about her every day. This, of course, isn’t the first time we’ve seen Lucky think of Elizabeth,...

The Talk co-hosts chatted about the premiere of The Golden Bachelorette. The Golden Bachelor spin-off follows Joan Vassos and her journey to love for a second time. However, co-host Amanda Kloots knows of someone else who would command primetime ratings.
Amanda Kloots Nominates The Talk Co-Host
On the latest episode of The Talk, Amanda Kloots exclaims she has the perfect “candidate” for The Golden Bachelorette. She threw Sheryl Underwood’s name into the ring. Sherly responded, “What? Me?” She had a bashful expression as she looked around at the roaring crowd.
Amanda said she would have her popcorn and drinks ready for that event. Sheryl joked, “But you would have to explain to the kids why I’m tongue-kissing their daddy.” Screams erupted from the audience.
Amanda assured Sheryl that she would nominate her for the next Golden Bachelorette. The audience chanted Sheryl’s name. It sounds like everyone’s on board with this idea.

There is a lot of controversy around a current The Bold and The Beautiful storyline. This is the storyline that sees Rebecca Budig playing Taylor in the daytime soap opera. However, there is a huge age difference between Budig and the actress who played Taylor before, Hunter Tylo.
Here is what Budig had to say about this controversial casting.
Rebecca Budig Discusses Playing Taylor On The Bold and The Beautiful
Hunter Tylo played Taylor before Rebecca Budig joined The Bold and The Beautiful cast. Tylo is 62, which makes Taylor older than many other characters on the daytime soap. However, she left the series, and Rebecca Budig signed on to play Hunter. There is one problem, though. Budig is 51.

CBS’ new daytime drama series “Beyond The Gates” has cast soap alums Karla Mosley and Daphnee Duplaix as “Dani Dupree” and “Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson,” respectively, daughters of the Dupree family matriarch, “Anita,” played by “As The World Turns” alum Tamara Tunie (ex-Jessica Griffin).
A former model turned “momager” who gave up her career for love, Dani (Mosley) is the Dupree family’s wild child, who’s also free-spirited, headstrong and uninhibited. Dropping out of school to pursue a high-flying modeling career, she has always marched to the beat of her own drum. Meanwhile, Nicole (Duplaix) exudes warmth, empathy and compassion. Although her seemingly perfect life includes being married to a surgeon husband, not everything is as it appears on the outside… inside.

As for Dani and Nicole’s mother, Antia (Tunie) is the family’s matriarch who at one time was a famous singer.

A recent interview on Live with Kelly and Mark took a severe turn, and a guest ended up in tears and terrified.
Kelly is always a consummate expert and has run her show smoothly for decades, and incidents like this rarely happen.
There have always been minor mishaps, like wardrobe malfunctions and Mark unexpectedly running off stage if he loses at Stump Mark.
A typical guest experience often does not include screaming and crying, which unfortunately happened recently on Live.
Kelly and Mark will joke around with each other or with Michael Gelman, the show’s executive producer, but they are usually respectful to the guests.
Recently, Josh Gad talked Kelly and Mark into allowing him to prank a guest by reportedly telling them she’d like it.

‘General Hospital’ (Gh) spoilers reveal that Michael E. Knight is returning to Gh as hotshot attorney Martin Grey. It’s good news for the actor, whose time in Port Charles was initially supposed to be brief.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Martin Will Be Involved In A Major Storyline
Martin left town this past February after he caught his girlfriend, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), after a “roll in the hay” with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner). Martin is also the brother of Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
His reappearance in Port Charles could be tied to a couple of key storylines. He could be back to defend Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) since she’s otherwise stuck being her own lawyer after being arrested for the murder of John “Jagger” Cates.
He may also be returning because Laura’s daughter, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havens), is about to wake up.

On September 15, 2023, three-time Daytime Emmy Award winner Billy Miller passed away following a lengthy battle with bipolar disorder, just two days shy of what would have been his 44th birthday. Two months later, his death was officially ruled as suicide by the Travis County Medical Examiner.
On the first anniversary of his death, and just two days short of what would have been his 45th birthday, fans of the beloved actor took to social media on Sunday to share thoughts and memories of Miller, including photos, videos and other forms of media.
“He was the best actor! He could take on a role and make it so good! Rest In Peace Billy you are so missed,” said one user on X (formerly Twitter). “Billy, you’ll always be remembered this way – you will get the justice that you deserve. Thank you for sharing yourself with the rest of us,” said another.

General Hospital (Gh) spoilers indicate that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is back to her nurse post, and hit the ground running during the Wednesday, September 11 episode. A patient on her roster was Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan) and Willow took the opportunity to give the fellow mom some encouragement. Willow chatted up a storm, telling Lulu that she understood her plight (as she was once in a similar situation), but also told the comatose mom that she needed to hold on to some hope.
After spilling some tea of her own about her feelings for Drew Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) checked in on Willow and commended her for talking to Lulu, as many nurses tend to forget there is a person behind the coma. Is there more to this scene than meets the eye?

All My Children is eying a return, this time as a holiday movie. Lifetime is in early development on Christmas In Pine Valley, an original movie followup to the long-running ABC daytime drama, a spokesperson confirmed to Deadline.
According to sources, conversations are currently underway on the project, which is in a conceptual stage. There is no writer, and it is unclear yet which characters from the original series may be featured in the film.
Like the soap, the potential movie will be set in Pine Valley, Pennsylvania, a fictional suburb of Philadelphia, which is modeled on the actual Philadelphia suburb of Rosemont.
Lifetime is connected corporately to ABC via the broadcast network’s parent Disney, which co-owns Lifetime parent A+E Networks.
This is not the first effort to revisit All My Children, the Agnes Nixon-created daytime drama which aired for 41 years on ABC from January 5, 1970 to September 23, 2011, originally...

‘General Hospital’ (Gh) spoilers reveal that All My Children alum Alexa Havins is the new Lulu Spencer. Lulu is set to awaken from her nearly four-year-long coma after Julian Jerome (William deVry) planted a bomb at the Floating Rib in November 2020.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Lulu Slipped Into A Coma November 2020
The explosion resulted in Lulu’s traumatic brain injury. She went to General Hospital to get checked out afterward and appeared to be clear.
However, when she went to tell her ex-husband, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), that she still loved him, she lapsed into a coma and has been unconscious ever since.
It has been reported that Gh’s showrunners searched extensively for nuLulu and, after an extremely thorough hunt, decided to go with Havins.
Havins played Babe Carey on All My Children from 2003 to 2007. Many fans were upset when Emme Rylan, who last played Lulu, was not asked to return.
