The French version has some "Continental" scenes featuring female nudity (topless) that do not appear in US or British prints.
Embassy Pictures released this film in the US in 1963, often on the bottom half of a double-bill with Embassy's Zulu (1964). However, it exhibited this film in black-and-white.
This movie is referred to indirectly in TV serie "the Avengers", episode "A touch of Brimstone", season Diana Rigg in black and white.
One of the writers of this movie is Monty Berman, famous producer of such TV series as "Department S" and "Jason King" (among others), both starring actor Peter Wyngarde...who plays in the above mentioned episode of the Avengers.
