Submitted to the British Board of Film Censors by S.F Film Distributors and passed with an "X" certificate (for adults only) on 18 May 1962. Distributors S.F. decided the original title Wonderland by Night was not sufficiently enticing and sent the film round the UK as Mainly for Men. For no logical reason S.F. decided to run the film in London's West End as a supporting feature with "U" rated Italian epic
Queen of the Nile (1961). The films opened at the Gala Royal on 25 April 1963 and ran for three weeks.
