People Are Bunny (1959)

Trivia

People Are Bunny

Edit
Host Art Linkletter, is renamed Art Lamplighter in this short. The humorous show, "People Are Phoney", is a spoof of People Are Funny (1954), a series that he hosted from 1954 to 1961.
The show "Were You There" is a parody of "You Are There," an historical series broadcast over the CBS Radio and CBS Television networks from 1947 to 1957. The television version was hosted by Walter Cronkite.
The TV show "Costume Party" that Bugs uses to dupe Daffy into a rabbit suit was a reference to Masquerade Party, a popular game show that premiered in 1952 and ran through 1960. Masquerade Party was unusual because it aired on all three networks, switching back and forth over it's eight year run. NBC (1952, 1957, 1958-1959, 1960) CBS (1953, 1954, 1958, 1959-1960) and ABC (1954-1956).
The television station's name is QTTV, just like in Wideo Wabbit (1956).
The Sportsman Hour director is a caricature of Frank Nelson.
