Mirada lives next to the railway line that runs from Austin to Prairie City, but when Hansen leave's Mirada's house with the harpoon to walk to Prairie City he crosses the line and walks away from it at 90 degrees.
When the sheriff finds McNeil dead, the sheriff takes McNeil's money & leaves his tin star behind without knowing that someone else knows who actually killed McNeil, which might implicated him in the murder when the body is later found by someone else.
When Johnny goes to George's room at the hotel to bring him to see McNeil, George already appears to know who McNeil is. He asks Johnny 'Do you work for him?', as if he has already been told that McNeil has claimed the land which his father's farm sits on. There is no preceding scene which shows George either asking or being told who now claims to own the land.
Johnny stands at his hotel room window looking down on Hansen who appears to be walking directly to the front of the hotel yet there's six shots of him striding down the street while Johnny takes his time going down to the bar and having a drink before going outside to find Hansen just approaching.
