When everyone gets off Gunn's boat, they have to wade through the water to get to the beach. Everyone's cloths are wet. But as soon as they are on the beach everyone's cloths are dry.
The coordinates given for the island are nonsensical. 178 degrees North latitude does not exist. (Latitudes are +/- 90 degrees.)
However, switching the units to 178 degrees West, 36 degrees North is a spot in the ocean about 1,500 miles northeast of Wake Island.
After the group wades ashore on Voodoo Island, Miss Adawms states they are at 36 degrees west and 178 degrees north. Anybody that has knowledge of geography or navigation knows that is an impossibility. Most likely it's 36N 178W.
The island is supposedly uninhabited, but when rushing to investigate Claire's scream the characters run down a dirt road with recognizable vehicle tire tracks on it. In the next scene they follow an obviously human made path to the side of a lake.
Abt 15 minutes into the film, during the Radio Room scene, the shadow of the boom mic can be seen moving about on the wall behind the actors. It can be seen in the upper right.
