When Shirley first presents herself to the king she is fearful he will "make his move on her" so she dresses herself to be as undesirable as possible and throws herself on his bed. The next three shots have her legs crossed right over left, then left over right, them back to right over left in quick succession.

As the girls are bathing for the first time the Nubian slaves disappear and appear between shots.

Goldfarb puts the plane on autopilot and later when the instruments malfunction he closes the autopilot cover without switching it off. Later he switches it on even though it should still be on.

Goldfarb's team are introduced as dervishes. Dervishes are a religious order who have taken vows of poverty and austerity. They are unlikely to be playing American football.

In the opening scene a Jeep screeches to a halt - on sand.

When explaining that classified ads have been placed 'in every newspaper all the way across his flight path' the indicated flight path bears little resemblance to the flight path shown earlier on Goldfarb's map.
