This Spanish co-production was one of a small group of films shot in the new short lived Panacolor process.
Espartaco Santoni fell in love with his Mexican co-star Tere Velázquez and married her in 1963. Their marriage produced two children, six movies and lasted for five years. Velàzquez divorced Santoni in 1968 on the grounds of adultery and emotional abuse.
