The film was on Hammer's 1960 schedule but for unclear reasons it was shelved. It would have starred Peter Cushing and George Sanders.
The jukebox in the bar is a Seeburg Symphonia "trashcan", manufactured from 1946 to 1948. About 63,000 were made. It could play one side of 20 different 78 rpm records.
