The phrase "one, two, three" is sometimes used to mean that something should be done quickly, as in "Get this done, one, two, three!" It is appropriate for this very fast-paced comedy. James Cagney uses the phrase in this sense in the film and Horst Buchholz says it in German ("Eins, zwei, drei!")
He dismisses them with a bark that they are "for bandleaders."
