In an interview with Roger Ebert in 1969, Russ Meyer said in order to compete with big studios, in many of his films before 1968 he relied on an asset the they didn't have or couldn't locate: Actresses with spectacular endowments. "We made a movie 'Erotica,' that had the most incredibly built girl you've ever seen. I mean beyond belief. Hugh Hefner screened it called me up. 'My God, Russ,' he said, 'How big is that girl?' Hef, I said, she goes right off the scale. We have to use hat sizes."

Memorable as my first "nudie" film

Not much to say about this film ... was almost like a narrated Playboy magazine. You followed girls around and they got naked. Kind of a new idea for the time, today you wouldn't waste your time. Most memorable scene (perhaps the only one I can remember) two women lie in the sun in a secluded field and rub oil on each other after doffing their swimsuits. The camera more or less just stares at them. I dont even recall dialog - just narration. Must have cost at least $23.89 to produce. Still, it was an enjoyable experience for a young college student ...
